AAFEBEN ORGANIZES A WORKSHOP TO DEVELOP ITS GENDER POLICY

Committed to resolutely integrating the gender approach into all its projects and programs, AAFEBEN organized a workshop for the development of its gender policy. This two-day workshop took place from April 24 to 25, 2025, at its premises (Bertoua coordination office). During these two days, the 02 WELL GROUNDED consultants facilitated the workshop which brought together all AAFEBEN staff.

The development of this gender policy comes after the establishment of the gender strategy. All of this sufficiently expresses AAFEBEN's willingness to consider the roles, expressions, identities, and relationships that society constructs between men and women, Baka and Bantu.

This workshop not only provided the elements for developing a gender policy but also strengthened the understanding of the issues and principles of the gender approach within AAFEBEN staff.
